MORE MISE-EN-SCENE

MISE-EN-SCENE
Location: There will be a few different locations for each of our scenes. The scene where the dealer and customer are making contact through the phone, the audience will see one of the characters sitting in a car in a car park. The second scene will be the two characters meeting in an alley way and doing the deal. The third scene will be in a shed, this is the torture scene.

Props: We will have flour/baby powder that will be wrapped up to look like a brick of cocaine. We will also have a vehicle for the kidnapping scene. In two of the scenes we will have a BB-gun that looks like a real gun and along with this, in the torture scene we will use blood capsules.

Lighting in our scenes: in our scenes we will have a mixture of high key lighting and low key lighting. The high key lighting will be used when the character is being tortured. The rest of the scenes will have low key lighting to show how things will take a dark turn up until the torture scene thats when the audience will know that things have gotten serious.

Costumes: The costumes will be lavish and over the top. Most of the things we will see are going to be like large jackets with fur, chains and luxury watches. This will again keep up the stereotypes of drug dealers being lavish and reckless with their money.

Sound: We will have edited sound effects of what happens throughout the scenes, these will be diegetic sounds and ambient sounds. With the non-diegetic sounds we will have the soundtrack from the Godfather and the instrumental from Meek Mill, "Who You're Around".
